Fall Adventures and Reading Challenge!

I love fall, leaves are turning beautiful colors and adorning our lawn.

We decided to bring a little bit of fall inside and created a beautiful tree to hang in the classroom.

I had such a wonderful time with the first graders, reading Sunset Hike, we talked about my background growing up in South Africa, then we painted about 30 Kind rocks to be placed on the trails and parks surrounding Milwaukee, the students couldn’t wait to get home and challenge their parents to take them hiking and place their kind rocks on the trail, watch out for the kind rocks in Milwaukee Folks.

The Highlight of the day, was the kids making A fall Tree with the leaves,

The students Jump high for joy!
